Our current partners
We have unique relationships with all of our partners below. Each partner supports us on work across a whole range of Bobby Moore Fund activities. Find out how their support is helping tackle bowel cancer, or contact us to become a partner.
The Bobby Moore Fund is a longstanding charity partner of The FA Group. We work together to raise vital funds for bowel cancer research and help raise awareness of the disease.
As one of the FA Group's four major charity partners the Fund receives a generous financial donation and a host of other benefits including signed England shirts, mascot places, Wembley Stadium Tours, tickets for England internationals and an annual fundraising event at Wembley Stadium.
The names of Wembley Stadium and Bobby Moore will always be connected following England's famous World Cup win in 1966. This connection continues today through our long term partnership, established after the renaming of Wembley Stadium's most exclusive members' club as the Bobby Moore Club.
Our relationship continues to go from strength to strength and November 2011 saw the second Bobby Moore pitch day at the Stadium. 48 players had the opportunity of a lifetime to play football on the hallowed turf, raising over £89,000 for the Fund.
West Ham United have supported the Bobby Moore Fund for a number of years, raising funds for and awareness of bowel cancer.
The range of partnership activities have included the Bobby Moore Cup in 2008 and 2009, the ongoing BM6 merchandise range, prize donations, player appearances and an annual awareness match.
Ladbrokes have supported the Fund in a multitude of ways, from sponsoring events and sending employees on International Projects to running a special World Cup ‘Bobby’ bet and selling pin badges in their stores.
British Airways have supported the Bobby Moore Fund ever since its inception in 1993. In recent years their support has been in the form of donated flight tickets to a range of destinations, which we use as auction and raffle prizes at our fundraising events.
These tickets enable us to raise thousands of pounds for bowel cancer research each year.
Sun Life Direct
Sun Life Direct, the nation’s most popular choice for over 50 life insurance, are supporting the Bobby Moore Fund and helping to raise awareness of bowel cancer amongst their customers, a segment of the population particularly vulnerable to the disease.
In November 2010, Sun Life Direct sponsored Sir Michael Parkinson's hugely successful one man show at Cadogan Hall which raised over £25,000 towards our bowel cancer research.
